The women of African decent in Holy Scriptures have been blessed by THE CREATOR to open
the way for a new nation of people to develop. I call them Muslim women as well, which the arabic word for
one who submits to ALMIGHTY GOD. I could have used the one word or the many words to describe this kind of woman. I
considers the arabic word suitable, since this same historic view appears in the story of Prophet Ebraheem, his African
mate called Hagar, and their son Ismail. In Gen. 16:10, it is revealed, "And the angel of THE LORD said to her
(Hagar), I will multiply your seed exceedingly, so that it will not be numbered because of masses." Moreover,
Ismail fathered Kedar in Gen. 25:13 and Kedar stands for Arabia in Ps. 120:5, Is. 42:11; 60:7) in the old Testament
of the Holy Bible.
In the Holy Quran, Prophet Ebraheem, Hagar and Ismail's story is also revealed. The upright
prophet brought his mate and son to the place that is now called Mecca for religious freedom. At first, it was called
Bakkah; it was an unfruitful place for the holy prophet prayed:
"The LORD of us, I have settled a part of my offspring in a valley unproductive of fruit(s), nearby
YOUR Sacred House, The LORD of us, so that they may keep up prayer; make the hearts of some people yearn towards them,
and provide them with fruits; perhaps, they may be thankful.'' Holy Quran-14: 37
Upon Prophet Ebraheem's departure, Hagar discovered Ismail and her
being left their alone was GOD'S command to the Prophet. She, a religious woman, said, "Inshallah, we will not perish!"
ALLAH did not let them die. Hagar was shown by an angel water at a place called Zamzam, after she ran back
and forth between the mountains of Safa and Marwah in search of nourishment. People started to settle
there out of the caravans that travelled in the area. This is how Ismail's offsprings settled in Arabia.
Hagar people were religious people of African decent, which were the same people brought here to America to
enslave.
With the same story , I wrote a book on the truth about religious women of African
decent; women even American history must show are leaders of the human spirit. This hidden
legacy is essence of our child rearing. We can meet this challenge by lifting up the destructive
spirit in a growing child to a state of perfecton: a spirit at peace due to faith
in THE CREATOR. Society develops, when we can live together in peace.
